On Saturday 4 October there is a Star Wars and Sci-Fi event in Corsham. Organisers are combining the
event with young reader’s sessions and competitions  in the towns Public Library, where guest children’s
science fiction author David Johnson will be discussing his story ideas and characters from his sci-fi Crystal
Quest saga.
Auttomatic Comics & Toys in Corsham is giving away comic books absolutely free to anyone who comes to
the event in fancy dress. There will also be a prize for the best costume. There will also be enthusiasts from
fan clubs dressed as Star Wars characters.   There will be opportunities at the event for young readers to
be photographed with the characters. Also excellent opportunities for photographs for the local media.
The library will also be holding a family quiz, interactive reading session, and various competitions.
Automattic Comics shop owner Matt Booker will be hosting the event from 10am to 4pm, while the public

Library which is opposite, will be hosting the competitions, quiz and writing discussions where guest author David Johnson will be discussing and signing his books from noon.

On sat 25 October a Doctor Who event with guests, competitions and costume Characters will be held.

David Johnson will also be signing copies of his latest book.

SaiZon is extending the scope of playability of Stikfas Action Figure Kits through the launch of a new online gaming website - www.stikfasgames.com

The new website currently features 8 games, each of which features a product from the Stikfas product line. For example, one of the games features the Stikfas Alpha Male Diver with Octopus that has players guide the Stikfas Diver through an underwater cave, avoiding a multitude of dangers that include the Stikfas Octopus while making sure not to run out of air. Bonus points are awarded by picking up MBears - the latest toy line introduced by Stikfas Pte Ltd that feature in their own game that tests players’ reflexes.

Other games currently available to play feature the Stikfas Dune Buggy, Dragon, Spaceman, Mechana Robot and KootiKooti Wrestling Stiks. For fans of the hit number based puzzle craze Sudoku, there is an image version where the tiles are images of various Stikfas action figures.

The Automattic Comics Summer custom competition was a great sucess with over 20 entries from all ages with some fantastic work from all it was realy hard to choose who was the winner so outside judges were enlisted to help with deciding who should win.

Saizon the north American distributor were on hand at Comicon to show off a few new items and give away 2000 exclusives it was also a meeting place for stikfanatics as well...

Following the recent success of the cuboyds, Stikfas will now be making more prebuilt product an the first of this new batch is the teddy with shades.

It will be aimed at the female audience and will probably come in girly colours and blind boxed like the cuboyds. The shades are removable.
